The Hello Kitty Exhibition is the first of its kind, and you can see it during the entire month of March.

Penn Cove Mussel Festival 

There’s no better way to embrace the coming of spring than with seafood. Cruise down to Penn Cove for the must-visit Musselfest on March 12 and 13. Sample mussel chowders, take a boat ride to see where Penn Cove mussels grow, sip drinks in the beer garden and taste the day away at cooking demonstrations. The festival will be held at 2 Front St., in Coupeville, and tickets include everything except lunch.

NCAA Division One Men’s Basketball Championships

Enjoy the best of March Madness right here in Spokane for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division One Men’s Basketball Championships. March 18 through 20, will be packed with games at the Spokane Arena at 720 W. Mallon Ave. Tickets can be purchased on the Spokane Arena website, so come watch your favorite teams play in the heart of one of Washington’s most exciting cities.
